ISLAMABAD: Skipper of Pakistan T20 team, Shahid Afridi is near to set another record in history of world cup, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Shahid Afridi is ready to set another record as he near to become a first cricketer to grab 100 wickets in T20 internationals.
Boom Boom Afridi, took 95 wickets so far in T20 career and he will be the first player to take 100 T20i wickets. Ongoing International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket World Cup 2016, will be the last chance for Lala to complete this milestone as he announced to retire after world cup.
Pakistani skipper is leading wicket taker in this format with 95 wickets followed by two Pakistanis, Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal. Ajmal took 64 and Gul managed to grab 60 wickets.
He also scored 1364 runs in 95 matches with the help of four fifties with the average of 18.
